Hastelloy Sample Probe Assemblies (C276 / C22)
Hastelloy C276 and C22 sample probe assemblies for wet chlorine, hypochlorite, mixed acids, and sour service. NACE MR0175 compliant, configurable lengths, gland types, and tip geometries.
When to Specify a Hastelloy Probe
Hastelloy C276 (UNS N10276) and Hastelloy C22 (UNS N06022) are the two most-specified nickel-base alloys when 316L stainless steel and even Inconel 625 are insufficient. Both alloys offer outstanding pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chloride-rich environments, plus broad acceptance under NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour service.
Choose a Hastelloy probe when:
- The process media contains wet chlorine, hypochlorite, or chlorine dioxide
- Sulfuric acid is present at mid concentration
- Mixed acid chemistry exceeds the limits of 316L
- The service is bleach plant in a pulp and paper mill
- SX-EW or HPAL leach solutions are involved
For a head-to-head decision against Inconel, see Hastelloy C276 vs Inconel 625.

- Hardness test result
- Solution-anneal certification
Configure
Open the SPA Configurator and select Hastelloy C276 (or C22) as the wetted material. The wizard automatically applies the Barlow's hoop-stress check at the entered process pressure and the wake-frequency check at the entered velocity, then generates the model number and bill of materials.
